Based on the decision of the IFOAM General Assembly in September 2005 IFOAM has been revising the Organic Guarantee System (OGS) with the aim of creating more access to it. IFOAM decided that the OGS, while always upholding the integrity of organic agriculture, should aim to facilitate trade and be able to accommodate all serious organic certification bodies and their clients.
